Singaplural? Isit Singapore in plural form? hmm.. I don’t think so… the name ‘SingaPlural’ is derived from a combination of the terms ‘Singular’ and ‘Plural’; and was conceived from the need to create a common platform to bridge designers with the industry.
Come! Celebrate Singapore 2017 with Singapore’s very own design week. Join SingaPlural, part of the design festival at the Singapore F1 Pit, as they showcase some of the best design from architecture, interior, furniture, urban planning, landscape architecture, to communications and fashion design.
‘Stories – A New Perspective’, the theme of 2017’s Singaplural expresses and celebrates the narratives of creatives and encourages the creation of new stories in each individual and collaboration, shared with the audience. Complimentary Talks on a first-come-first-served basis and require pre-registration.

Venue: Singapore F1 Pit
Exhibition Date: 7 March 2017 – 12 March 2017

The Waiting Room By Antalis X Somewhere Else
“The Waiting Room” seeks to provide answers to our every day problems (such as Crippled Self-Esteem? , Crumbling Relationships?, Empty Pockets?) by providing crazy and outragous answers via a series of luckdip answers. This installation hopes to inspire visitors to confront their problems in real-life with more conviction. There are Free cards (like the one i am holding) that you can bring home and ponder upon.
Tomorrow: Design Stories of Our Future
This place looks like a library. Clean and pristine. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with friendly librarians who will loan you a book to read. The book – compiled by works of 10 designers and 10 illustrators from Singapore, presents their visions of Singapore in 2065. A very interesting read – if only i can bring one home… 😦
Reading is fun. Reading is good. You should read it too.
